Germ cell tumors (GCTs) are a heterogeneous group of neoplasms that arise from the primordial germ cells human embryo, which normally destined to produce reproductive sperm, or ova. GCTs can be present in both gonadal and extragonadal GCT sites. Pediatric relatively rare with an incidence 2%-3%. Primary mediastinal very anterior mediastinum. In this report, we case 16-year-old boy primary seminoma arising The patient presented symptoms cough, fever, chest tightness. CT finding was favor large expansive process measuring 12.4x6.7x14.2 cm mediastinum, accompanied by conglomeration hilar lymph nodes level brachiocephalic veins juncture. Fine needle biopsy core were performed transthoracically, under control MSCT. Based on histology immunohistochemistry, diagnosis tumor immunophenotype made. treated 4 cycles chemotherapy BEP protocol without significant side effects toxicities. remained disease-free for 16 months. purpose reporting is confirm cisplatin-based regimens has markedly improved outcome adults children as well.
